The story
Przystań & Marina serves Mediterranean cooking at ul. Księcia Witolda 2 in Wrocław, and the Michelin Guide listed it as Recommended in 2026. The dining room faces the Oder, with the University of Wrocław across the water.
Karol Sankowski runs the kitchen. While working here he trained at the Institut Paul Bocuse in Lyon. The cooking is a personal take on classic dishes, drawing on Mediterranean and Polish tradition. His signature trick is a fish course with béarnaise that liquid nitrogen turns, at minus 197°C, into cold, glittering flakes.
Gault&Millau gave the restaurant 13.5 in 2026 and singled out the lightly smoked beef tartare with foie gras and the beef tenderloin with demi-glace. The roasted eggplant with Racibórz cheese earns a mention too. The menu also lists hand-shaped pike-perch pierogi with beurre blanc, a whole baked sea bream and white truffle risotto with forest mushrooms. A seasonal insert sits beside the permanent menu, and the wine list runs to 120 labels.
The restaurant stands on Kępa Mieszczańska, between two historic bridges. Inside, beige and brown tones and fresh flowers keep the mood quiet and discreet. It opened in 2008 as the first fine dining address on the island. Breakfast is served as well, including a Polish plate of fried egg, grilled bacon and white sausage.
