The story
Pirandello in Heerlen, Netherlands, is an Italian restaurant at Tunnelweg 99, Landgraaf, on the Winselerhof estate in South Limburg. Michelin lists it as Recommended for 2026, and Gault&Millau awarded it 13 points that year.
The kitchen makes its pasta in-house and cooks fish and meat dishes that follow the seasons. Seasonal plates carry Mediterranean touches, with ingredients chosen from the region and from Italy. The wine list covers Italian and Limburg bottles, including the house sparkling wine, Bollicine di Pirandello, made from grapes grown on the estate.
The restaurant sits in a 16th-century manor farm with a large, quiet courtyard. Dinner runs Wednesday to Saturday from 18:00, and the terrace opens at the same times when the weather allows. Pets are not permitted inside, except assistance dogs.
