The story
Het Binnenhof is a modern French restaurant at Bocht van Guinea 6 in the centre of Goes. Gault&Millau awarded it 12.5 points for 2026, praising its fresh Zeeland ingredients with fish and shellfish at the centre of the plate.
Chef Arjan and his team write a new tasting menu every month, built around seasonal produce that the chef selects each week. Guests choose between three and seven courses. On the winter menu, that meant 59 to 99 euros per person. Diners who prefer to order freely can also choose from the à la carte.
Skrei, Norwegian cod, is seared golden and served on a cream of young peas with a sauce of smoked eel. Sea bass comes skin-side crisp over spaghetti, with a chorizo sauce. Wild boar is cooked gently, finished with confit red onion and a dark beer sauce. Dessert might be blood orange from Sicily with mint, hangop and white chocolate.
The restaurant sits on a courtyard in the old town, with a terrace for summer evenings. The Michelin Guide lists it as Recommended for 2026. When Het Binnenhof is fully booked, the team can seat guests at Karel V, their sister restaurant on the quay in Goes.
