The story
Le D'Arville, at rue d'Arville 94 in Wierde (Namur), is a modern cuisine restaurant that Gault&Millau rated 15 in 2026. The Michelin Guide also lists it for 2026, and the We're Smart Green Guide gives it 3 Radishes.
Estelle and Olivier run the restaurant from their 19th-century farm, which now has a contemporary interior. Gault&Millau describes a chef who has cooked here for over twenty years, with an inventive, honest style and precise craftsmanship. The restaurant describes its approach as seasonal suggestions for a simple, current kitchen, with an open kitchen in view.
The five-course menu costs 55 € and is built on produce from the restaurant's own garden, local producers and artisans. A sample listing starts with smoked eel and tomato-water espuma, followed by cod with sea aster and salicornes. Lobster comes with young leeks. The main course is lamb from the Censier farm, grilled with rosemary and served with a confit shoulder, or a sea bass fillet in beurre blanc with fennel and elderflower pollen. A wine pairing with coffee is 30 € per person. The kitchen adapts the menu for allergies, vegetarians and guests watching carbohydrates.
From Wednesday to Friday, a three-course lunch costs 45 €, with a wine selection at 25 €. The farm has a lounge, a table d'hôte, a terrace, a garden and a water feature for sunny days. Banquets, receptions and seminars are also part of the offer, and private parking is available.
