The story
Atelier de Bossimé is a modern French restaurant at rue Bossimé 2B in Loyers, Namur. Gault&Millau scored it 14.5 for 2026, citing a kitchen that follows the seasons and the vegetable garden visible from the dining room.
Chef Ludovic Vanackere founded the restaurant in 2011 and cooks a single menu instead of a fixed carte. Courses arrive one after another, so diners do not know in advance what they will eat. Allergies and dietary restrictions can be noted when booking by phone or online.
Around 45 vegetable varieties are grown on site using organic methods, and the kitchen works with about 40 local producers of cheese, wine and beer. The Michelin Guide lists the restaurant as Recommended for 2026. The open kitchen and the view over the gardens keep the French cooking close to where the ingredients grow.
