The story
Klaver in Ieper serves modern French cooking at Poperingseweg 230, and Gault&Millau awarded it 13 points in 2026. Chef Korneel Verhulst cooks a single set menu, so the evening is planned for you from the first course.
Guests choose three, four, five or six courses, with three to five wines selected to match. Friday and Saturday evenings offer only the five and six course menus. The card has included crab with kohlrabi and avocado, smoky duck with peanut and beetroot, and white chocolate with calamansi. Cheese can replace dessert or be added as its own course. Vegan dishes are not offered, so note any dietary needs when you book.
Hostess Grace Tabani looks after guests, and Gault&Millau describes the interior as sleek, styled and cozy, arranged like a living room. The welcome feels personal and unhurried. Klaver has air conditioning and outdoor seating.
