The story
Da Mimmo serves contemporary Italian cooking at Avenue du Roi Chevalier 24 in Woluwe-Saint-Lambert, Brussels, and holds one Michelin star (2026). The restaurant has been open for more than 25 years, and its current chef took over the kitchen in 2023.
Louis Verstrepen is the chef and owner. He trained under Joël Robuchon and Anne-Sophie Pic before taking the restaurant in hand. His cooking combines technical precision with aromatic sophistication, and the classics are reworked with contemporary touches. Gault&Millau scores the restaurant 15 out of 20 for 2026.
The setting is sober and contemporary, according to Gault&Millau. Diners can sit outside or book the private room for private parties. Air conditioning and takeaway service are also available.
