The story
Camionette is a plant-based fine dining restaurant in Antwerpen, set in the Poortgebouw at Hospitaalplein 5 in the Groen Kwartier. Gault&Millau scored it 14 in 2026.
Chef Lander leads the kitchen, working with seasonal, local and rooftop-grown ingredients. The menu changes every 8 weeks. Dinner is five courses at € 76 on Wednesday and Thursday, or six courses at € 90. On Saturday, lunch is three courses at € 50 or six at € 90. Gluten-free options are available if you mention them when booking.
Founder Boqion brings a deep interest in wine to the floor. The list leans on natural wines, and pairings come in three tiers at € 30, € 50 and € 60. A non-alcoholic pairing runs at € 26, € 43 and € 52, so the drinks follow the same logic as the plates.
The restaurant occupies a former warehouse on the old military hospital site. Raw industrial structure meets warm organic accents. After dark the lights soften and the pace slows. By day the same room becomes Camion, a plant-based spot for breakfast, lunch, coffee and pastries.
The team works with local farmers and producers and thinks in circular systems. The We're Smart Green Guide gave it 4 Radishes in 2026.
