The story
Nobu Dubai serves Japanese-Peruvian cooking at Atlantis, The Palm, Crescent Road, Palm Jumeirah, Dubai, and the Michelin Guide lists it as Recommended for 2026. The Japanese kitchen works with Peruvian ingredients and flavours, so a single meal can move from sashimi to ceviche and back again.
Nobu Matsuhisa, the chef behind the Nobu name, worked in Japan for years before moving to Lima and then opening his first restaurant in Beverly Hills. That path shows on the plate. Japanese technique meets Peruvian seasoning, and the menu is built for sharing.
The signature black cod miso anchors the menu, alongside lobster salad with spicy lemon dressing and caviar potato wasabi. Sushi ranges from yellowtail and sea urchin to freshwater eel and soft-shell crab. Weekend set lunch, served Friday to Sunday, offers a salmon spicy miso taco, seafood ceviche, and roasted duck orange miso.
Tables on the terrace face Palm Jumeirah, and the Forbes Travel Guide lists the restaurant as Recommended for 2026. A central bar sits beneath a large installation, with hammered metal and weathered stone shaping the space. Come early for a drink at the bar. The cocktails draw on New York and Tokyo, such as the Shinjuku Gibson with watermelon and Ketel One vodka, or The Big Apple, which pairs Michter's rye with green apple and yuzu.
