The story

Natürlich Geneva: Piedmontese Restaurant With a Michelin Bib Gourmand 2026

Natürlich, at Rue de la Coulouvrenière 38 in Geneva, is a Piedmontese kitchen that earned a Michelin Bib Gourmand in 2026 for good-quality, good-value cooking. The restaurant sits a few metres from the Rhône, and its two spaces, Table and Stamm, share one idea of sharing good food.

Cooking in view

The kitchen opens onto the dining room, and Gault&Millau awarded it 14 points in 2026 for straightforward, honest cooking. Beef tartare comes with barbecue sauce and chestnuts, while dragonfish tartare is dressed with anchovy vinaigrette and set beside puntarelle and calamansi. Lamb arrives with tagliatelle in a white ragout. A new head chef has recently taken over the stoves.

Two rooms, one table

Table is the main room, with wooden furniture, stone elements and plants, plus a shared table d'hôte beside the open kitchen. Stamm, next door, is built around wine and vinyl records, suited to an evening before or after dinner or to a private booking. The Italian sommelier recommends bottles from an impressive list.

The stylish venue with its open kitchen exudes a relaxed ambiance. This pairs perfectly with the effortlessly competent service, the small menu featuring occasional Italian touches, and the straightforward, honest cooking. We start with tartare: a silky beef preparation served with barbecue sauce, chestnuts, lightly smoked potatoes, and salsify. Next comes an equally refined dragonfish tartare dressed with anchovy vinaigrette, accompanied by crisp puntarelle and remarkably sweet calamansi. For the tender, herb-infused lamb, the kitchen serves somewhat soft-cooked tagliatelle in a white ragout, while the robust venison ragout atop confit onions is paired skillfully with polenta made from Geneva corn. For dessert, the "Portokalopita," a Greek interpretation of baba au rhum, impresses with yogurt mousse and orange. A competent Italian sommelier recommends suitable wines from the impressive list. P.S.: A new head chef has taken over the kitchen.
