The story
Esterre by Alain Ducasse is a French restaurant in Tokyo, on the 6th floor (6F) of Palace Hotel Tokyo at 1-1-1 Marunouchi, Chiyoda-ku. The Michelin Guide awarded it one star in 2026 for high quality cooking.
The restaurant is listed under French and haute cuisine, and its name links it to Alain Ducasse. The Michelin star is the clearest recognition of the kitchen's standard, and the menu is the place to check current dishes and seasonal courses.
Esterre is one of ten restaurants, bars and lounges at Palace Hotel Tokyo, and each space has its own design. The hotel reopened as Palace Hotel Tokyo in 2012, after a 1961 opening and a closure in 2009 for rebuilding.
