The story
Tihanyi Vinarius is a contemporary restaurant in Balatonfüred, at Kiserdőtelepi út in Tihany, and Gault&Millau awarded it 12 points for 2026.
Imre Vadász leads the kitchen, and the menu stays short so that every dish earns its place. The Gault&Millau review praised a duck breast, cooked pink and served with csusza noodles and curtido, a fermented cabbage relish from El Salvador. Dessert is a reworked curd strudel with strawberries and vanilla ice cream.
The open kitchen and elegant interior sit under the thatched roof. The panoramic terrace looks over the lake but has little greenery and stone paving, so the indoor room suits hot summer days. The cellar seats 100 to 150 guests, and the dining room seats 40 to 45.
