The story
Matsuhisa Munich is the Japanese-Peruvian restaurant of Nobu Matsuhisa at Neuturmstraße 1, on the upper floor of the Mandarin Oriental. Schlemmer Atlas gave it 2.5 Kochlöffel in 2026. It is a branch of the Beverly Hills Matsuhisa, the first restaurant the chef opened.
Seafood leads the menu. Sashimi of black grouper and yellowfin tuna arrives with jalapeños, and a Peruvian ribeye anticucho shares the card with traditional Japanese sushi. The hotel also names Black Cod Miso and Toro Tartare among the dishes that made Nobu's cooking famous.
A partly separated dining area seats up to ten guests for omakase, where the chef decides the courses. Elsewhere in the room, a live cooking counter has eight seats, so you can watch the cooks prepare Nobu's dishes in front of you.
The Table Exclusive is set up for groups of up to ten, whether for a celebration or a quiet gathering. The Michelin Guide lists the restaurant as Recommended for 2026.
