The story
Rührberger Hof in Lörrach cooks Badische and classic dishes at Inzlinger Straße 1 in Grenzach-Wyhlen, and Michelin awarded it a Bib Gourmand in 2026 for good quality, good value cooking.
Christoph and Felix Düster run the family business in its fourth generation, with their parents still part of the house. The brothers develop the dishes together. Their kitchen works from experience, creativity and attention to detail, and they describe each plate as a product of that shared approach.
The seasonal menu keeps several familiar dishes on the card, including Wiener Schnitzel and veal scaloppine. Chateaubriand is served the classic way, in two courses. The restaurant also offers a set lunch menu, which suits a midday visit.
The restaurant has four dining rooms. The Saal seats up to 70 guests, the Wintergarten up to 40, the small Saal up to 30, and the Nebenzimmer up to 20. The hotel sits in a quiet village at the edge of the forest, close to Basel and within easy reach of the motorway. Outdoor seating is available in good weather.
