The story
La Cuisine Rademacher is a modern French restaurant in Cologne (Köln), at Dellbrücker Hauptstraße 176, 51069 Köln. It holds one Michelin star (2026) for its high quality cooking, and its bistro-style room serves a seasonal French kitchen shaped by chef Marlon Rademacher.
Rademacher opened the restaurant in 2018, at 23, after working in several kitchens with two and three Michelin stars. His approach combines French refinement with international influences, and classic dishes are reinterpreted for a modern palate. Der Feinschmecker describes the food as contemporary fine dining with a classic foundation.
The duck breast arrives with a perfectly pink centre, served with potato and orange purée, pointed cabbage, cranberries and Rouennaise sauce. A celery millefeuille with porcini mushrooms shows the kitchen's focus on umami. For dessert, the blackberry tribute pairs Ivoire chocolate and pistachio with a whisky muscovado sabayon.
The dining room is stylishly modern, and the service is warm and unhurried. The wine list is small with a European focus, offering 20 wines by the glass. Vegetarian menus are available when reserved in advance.
