The story
Grappolo D'Oro is an Italian restaurant at Altenberger-Dom-Str. 75 in Bergisch Gladbach, listed under Köln. The Schlemmer Atlas gave it 2 Kochlöffel in 2026.
Chef Leonardo Bochicchio has run this kitchen for more than 40 years. The menu pairs classic Italian tradition with a lighter, modern hand. Antipasti, fresh fish, meat and seasonal suggestions all appear. Vegetarian plates from southern Italy, built on vegetables and pasta, are not printed on the menu, so guests ask the service team.
The Schlemmer Atlas singles out the Tris di Mare, a plate of fish carpaccio, marinated prawns and fried calamari. Argentine steaks come from the lava stone grill, as rump or fillet in 200 and 300 gram cuts. Among the Italian classics are saltimbocca alla Romana with sage and white wine sauce, and lasagne della nonna, made in house. Tiramisù, panna cotta and zabaione with vanilla ice cream close the menu.
The dining room is warm and classically elegant, and a terrace opens in the summer months. The Italian wine list rotates through regions and includes bottles from small estates. The team will help match a wine to your meal.
