The story
Les Gourmands is a classic cuisine restaurant in Mons, at Rue de Sars 15 in Blaregnies, Belgium. It holds one Michelin star (2026), and Gault&Millau has awarded it 15 points (2026).
Didier Bernard and Lydia Glacé run the kitchen, and Lydia Glacé also takes charge of the desserts. Their regional cooking is revisited with care. Produce is ordered at the start of each week and delivered daily from Wednesday, a few hours before the first service.
Carlo Zecchin, the sommelier and owner, looks after a cellar of more than 1,000 references. The Menu Incontournable runs four or five courses, with dishes such as marinated Scottish salmon, blue lobster and pedigree beef cooked in a sauté pan with béarnaise. Wine pairings are offered with the menus, chosen by Carlo Zecchin himself.
