Bed van Napoleon Leuven: Restaurant Review and Guide Recognition

Bed van Napoleon is a restaurant at Kortrijkstraat 101 in Leuven, Belgium, and it holds a score of 12 from Gault&Millau for 2026. The We're Smart Green Guide also awarded it one Radish the same year.

A philosophy served from the stomach

The restaurant's website opens with a line attributed to Napoleon Bonaparte: "All revolutions come from the stomach." The quote sets the tone for a place that puts food at the center of its identity. The name carries the same Napoleonic theme into the restaurant.

Recognition in the guides

Gault&Millau gave the restaurant a score of 12 in 2026, a mark that places it among the guide's rated addresses in Belgium. The Green Guide's single Radish, also from 2026, adds a second independent endorsement to the same year.
