The story
Cuines 33 is a seasonal kitchen at Smedenstraat 33 in Knokke-Heist, Belgium, and it holds one Michelin star (2026). Head chef Edwin Menue and Fleur Boussy run the restaurant together, with Fleur hosting the room.
The kitchen serves a single set menu that follows the seasons, built from meat, fish and shellfish of the moment. Lunch begins at 12:00 and dinner at 19:00, both from a fixed arrival time. The menu is €215, with wine pairing at €93 and juice pairing at €75.
Edwin and Fleur describe the restaurant as a new concept, shaped over 14 years of working together. Gault&Millau awarded it 17 points for 2026, praising the pairing of high-quality cooking with a warm setting. Because the menu is so precisely built, lactose-free, vegetarian, vegan and fish-free versions are not offered.
