The story
The London is a modern French restaurant at Amsterdamstraat 34-36 in Antwerpen, in the 't Eilandje district, and the Michelin Guide lists it as Recommended for 2026.
Tommy Cavaliere and Thalissa are the couple behind The London. They came together after years in top kitchens and a trip guided by the San Pellegrino 50 Best list. The cooking draws on those travels, using seasonal products that are mostly local. Gault&Millau gave the restaurant 13.5 points in 2026.
Alongside the à la carte, the kitchen changes its Collectie menus with the seasons. Spring brings lamb, asparagus and morels. Autumn and winter lean on classical sauces, with Escoffier in mind. A summer tasting menu opens with Norwegian langoustine tartare and Imperial Heritage caviar, then moves to Balfegó tuna tiradito with passion fruit and Oosterschelde eel with petits gris. Tasting menus run to five courses (€98) or six (€125), and a vegetarian version is available.
Windows look out on the Havenhuis by Zaha Hadid. The name refers to the Londenbrug beside the restaurant, and to London as a city where the world's cuisines meet. Creative cocktails and a wine list sit alongside the food. Lunch and dinner both end with a PortAnt, a praline shaped like the Havenhuis and made with chocolatier Jitsk.
