The story
Dell'arte in Vlissingen is a modern French restaurant at Mariastraat 34 in Cadzand, where owner-chef Robbert Dellaert earned a Michelin Recommended distinction in 2026.
Robbert Dellaert builds his menus around seasonal, local produce and leans toward fish. In the 2026 Lekker500 review, a pre-marinated salmon came with leek prepared three ways, a foamy champagne beurre blanc and a yuzu gel. Steamed sea bass arrives under slices of lardo di Colonnata, with a light purée and cooked celeriac. The cheese plate offers five unconventional selections, and the goat cheese De Swarte Toer from Friesland stood out.
The dining room occupies the house where Dellaert grew up, and it still feels like a living room. His wife Julie runs the floor as hostess and sommelier, and she pours wine by the glass to pair with the courses. Guests can choose from an à la carte menu, a three-course lunch at €49.50, or a dinner menu of four courses at €75 or five at €96.50.
