The story
Restaurant 360° at Bahnhofsplatz 1a in Limburg an der Lahn holds one Michelin Star (2026) for its globally minded, modern international cuisine. The dining room sits at the top of the building, with a view that gives the place its name.
Alexander Hohlwein has run the restaurant as chef and owner since March 2016, together with his partner Rebekka Weickert. He describes his style as "weltoffene Aromenküche", a cuisine open to the world and built on aroma. The evening menu, called Weltreise, travels through many courses. One plate pairs Label Rouge salmon sashimi with a crustacean vinaigrette and Kashmir curry. Arctic char arrives with chive butter and beech mushrooms, and roe buck with coffee and parsley root.
Weickert is hostess and trained sommelier, and she chooses a wine for each dish. Wine pairing is part of the offer, and Thursday tasting evenings called 5 Gläser pour five wines around a theme. The cheese selection comes from Maître Affineur Waltmann in Erlangen.
The Schlemmer Atlas (3.5 Kochlöffel, 2026) points to the choice on offer here. You can look out at the cathedral or watch the kitchen team at work. Seating is limited to about 35 guests. There is also a bar and a rooftop terrace, home to its own bee colony. Lunch is served Wednesday to Saturday, with a shorter menu than in the evening.
