The story
Nagomi serves a Japanese kitchen at Rue de Zurich 47 in Genève's Les Pâquis district, and Gault&Millau awarded it 14 points in 2026. The restaurant is a small, counter-focused room where sushi and sashimi take centre stage.
Masahiko Numabukuro prepares the sushi and sashimi at the counter, so guests can watch each piece being assembled. The room has only twelve seats, which makes the counter the best place to sit. Michelin lists Nagomi as Recommended for 2026.
Kenta, the chef's son, fries tempura to order on the other side of the room. The menu moves from miso-dressed raw tuna and seaweed salad to grilled eel (unagi kabayaki) and grilled mackerel (saba shioyaki). Dessert options include a red bean pancake (dorayaki) and black sesame pudding.
