The story
Alpenblick - Stuba is the fine dining room of Restaurant Alpenblick at Dorfstrasse 9 in Adelboden, Switzerland. The modern cuisine here earned one Michelin star in 2026, and the menu changes with the seasons.
Björn Inniger leads the kitchen, and Rebecca Pfiffner works as sous chef. The team buys mostly organic ingredients and knows the origin of each product. Farmers, butchers, winemakers, fishers and cheesemakers are regular partners. The tasting menu lets guests choose between meat and vegetarian courses at each stage.
Gault&Millau awarded the Stuba 17 points in 2026. The reviewer singled out a fillet of Brüggli char with lardo di Colonnata, spring onions and a lemony beurre blanc. The highlight was a glazed, pan-seared short rib from Adelboden beef, served on cauliflower purée with blackberries and blackberry jus. Pink-roasted veal fillet paired with Burgdorf Aemme shrimp and a spicy chorizo foam made the main course memorable. Dessert followed with ripe strawberries and basil sorbet, then a coffee parfait with pepper on almond brittle.
The Stuba is a stylish, quiet room with views of the 3000-metre peaks above Adelboden. Thai specialties appear on the restaurant's Thursday grill evenings, which adds a different register to the seasonal menu.
