The story
Rozbrat 20 is a modern cuisine restaurant at ul. Rozbrat 20 in Warsaw's Powiśle district, and it holds a Michelin star for high quality cooking (2026). The kitchen offers a short tasting menu and a full tasting menu, both shaped by one chef's background.
Head chef and co-owner Bartosz Szymczak gained his experience in several British restaurants, then added Asian influences to his cooking. He works with premium ingredients and combines classic technique with a contemporary approach. Polish cooking, the food he grew up with, remains a reference point alongside British-French roots.
Dishes that regulars mention include bread consommé, foie gras, lobster with chipotle and cilantro, halibut with leek and sorrel, pigeon, and truffle with pear and yuzu. Lime cream with bergamot rounds out the list. Some dishes change with the season, so the menu gets new creations from the chef regularly.
The interior uses neutral tones and minimalist details, which keeps the room intimate, and Gault&Millau scored it 16 (2026) for interior and atmosphere. A smaller VIP room seats about 15 guests, a good fit for private dinners or business meetings. The dress code is smart casual.
Guests can choose from three wine pairings: Essential, Non-Alcoholic, and Prestige. A sommelier guides diners through a wine list of around 500 labels.
