The story
Nolita, at ul. Wilcza 46 in Warsaw, is an Asian fusion restaurant that blends modern Polish and international cooking, and Gault&Millau awarded it 16.5 points in 2026. The dining room occupies the ground floor of a restored tenement house in the city centre.
Head chef Jacek Grochowina works with simple ingredients of premium quality. His Asian-influenced cooking shows technical precision, and each component of a dish is considered closely before it leaves the kitchen. The menu follows a clear idea rather than a list of trends.
The starters include dim sum filled with Wagyu A5 Kagoshima beef, served with a tom yum of king crab. Grilled octopus arrives with teriyaki, wasabi and creamy potatoes. Among the mains, a wild sea bass fillet is prepared Cantonese style, and Wagyu tenderloin is grilled over fire. The chocolate soufflé uses Valrhona Guanaja and hazelnut, a dessert that takes about 20 minutes to prepare.
The wine list is one of the longest in Poland and includes champagne, with well-known labels alongside bottles from less common regions such as China and Lebanon. Guests can choose the à la carte menu or one of two tasting menus, Classic and Prestige, each paired with wine. The interior is kept in white, black and grey, with an open kitchen and a private room for larger groups.
