The story
Euskadi is a Basque restaurant at ul. Kazimierza Brodzińskiego 4 in Kraków's Podgórze district, and Gault&Millau gave it 12.5 points in 2026. The restaurant calls itself the only place in Poland serving Basque cuisine, built on small pintxos and shareable plates.
The pintxos list leans on Iberian staples. Ham croquettes (croquetas de jamón) and cod fritters (buñuelos de bacalao) come as small bites, while the Gilda skewers combine olives, pickled peppers and anchovies. Fried sweet peppers (pimientos de Padrón) and patatas bravas with aioli fill out the vegetable side.
Grilled octopus (pulpo) comes with roasted potatoes, and soft-shell crab (cangrejo) sits in a white bisque sauce. Iberian pork appears in several forms, including a tenderloin served with confit potatoes and cheeks with parsnip purée. Most mains fall between 28 and 42 zł.
The interior is compact and cozy, and kitchen sounds stay low enough for easy conversation. Michelin lists the restaurant as Recommended for 2026. For dessert, flan comes with salted caramel and seasonal fruit, while torrija is caramelized brioche soaked in milk and served with mint ice cream.
