The story
6&24 is a modern cuisine restaurant at Nobelstraat 13 in The Hague, and it holds a 2026 Michelin Recommended mention. Chef Rik van de Laar and sommelier Saskia de Kuijer have run the restaurant since January 2018, cooking a Dutch-leaning menu on the edge of the city centre.
Rik van de Laar has cooked since he was twelve and trained at De Librije in Zwolle. The restaurant says about 80 percent of its produce comes from the Netherlands. The menu changes roughly every six weeks, and guests can choose a seasonal tasting menu of four to eight courses, in a vegetarian version or a fish-and-meat version.
Lekker500 reviewers in its 2026 Top 500 listing describe North Sea turbot and a cauliflower cooked three ways, finished with a rich coconut sauce. An earlier review praised langoustines grilled tableside on a ceramic Japanese grill, and a suikerbrood served with bone marrow and vanilla ice cream.
Saskia de Kuijer runs the front of house and the wine list, which is available with a non-alcoholic pairing. The room sits in a converted industrial building in the Hofkwartier, with tiered levels and an open kitchen. Groups from five to seventy guests can book, and a chef's table in the kitchen is reserved by phone.
