The story
Beulings is a contemporary restaurant at Beulingstraat 9 in Amsterdam, and Gault&Millau awarded it 15 points in 2026. The Michelin Guide lists it as Recommended for 2026. The kitchen serves a seasonal set menu in a room near the 9 Streets, with a modern French approach and international influences.
Bas Bont and Lisja Hu opened Beulings in 2008, after years working together at several renowned Amsterdam restaurants, including La Rive, Het Tuynhuys, Segugio and Van Vlaanderen. The menu builds on seasonal products, prepared with a keen eye for detail. Its simple, inspired approach is the restaurant's stated foundation.
Every bottle on the list is chosen with care, and the wine pairing is the usual choice for dinner. Guests with a preferred producer or region can order from the extensive wine list instead. A non-alcoholic pairing of juices, teas and mocktails is also available, but it must be pre-ordered when you book because it takes time to prepare.
