The story
Gusto Naturale serves Italian cooking at Z.A.C op Herbett, Schifflange, 3885, Luxembourg, and Gault&Millau awarded it a score of 12 for 2026. The kitchen works partly with produce from the adjacent delicatessen, so the restaurant and its shop share much of the same pantry.
The guide describes the kitchen as inventive, with a menu that changes with the seasons. Homemade spaghettone arrives with crayfish bisque, paired with a quick seafood ragout and courgette tartare. Fresh pasta appears across the menu, including tagliatelle, pappardelle, tagliolini and fettuccine. Some shapes must be ordered at least 48 hours ahead so the kitchen can make them fresh.
Charcuterie is sliced to order from the deli and served with homemade antipasti, a platter reviewers singled out. The grill menu, La Nostra Grigliata, offers veal chop, beef fillet, ribeye and Iberian pork fillet, each served with mashed potato, mini Vichy carrots and sage jus. A tomahawk steak is available in the evening only.
The dining room is warm and sits inside the Red Rock complex in Schifflange. Outdoor seating, a private room and takeaway are all available, and the restaurant has parking and wheelchair access. The whole restaurant or part of it can be booked for private or business events, seating up to 50 guests or up to 100 for a cocktail format. Michelin lists the restaurant as Recommended for 2026, and the wine list focuses on Italy with a wide selection at reasonable prices.
