The story
ZURRIOLA is a contemporary Spanish restaurant in Tokyo, on the fourth floor of the Kojun Building at 6-8-7 Ginza, Chuo-ku. The Michelin Guide awarded it one star in 2026, and Gault&Millau gave it 16.5 the same year.
Owner-chef Seiichi Honda trained in France before visiting Spain, where he came to value simple cooking that lets good ingredients speak. That principle now guides the kitchen. The menu blends traditional Spanish dishes from the Basque region with the precise techniques of Japanese cuisine, shaped by the seasons.
The dining room is modern and restrained. Works by Lafols Casamada, a pioneer of Catalan abstract painting, hang alongside a watercolor of Zurriola beach in San Sebastián, a place the chef lived. Ten counter seats, twelve dining seats and two private rooms for up to four guests keep the room intimate.
