The story
Agriscape is a French restaurant at 177 Kobetsusawa, Nishi Ward, Sapporo, and it earned a Gault&Millau score of 15.5 in 2026. The kitchen works with vegetables, chicken, pork, lamb, goat and honey from the restaurant's own farm.
The farm raises vegetables, chickens, pigs, sheep, goats and bees for honey. Agriscape also buys from producers in farming, dairy, livestock and fishing. The team says its connection with those people matters more to them than self-sufficiency. The restaurant holds a We're Smart Green Guide rating of 3 Radishes for 2026.
The menu runs from the KAEDE short course at 4,400 yen, about six dishes, to the BIRCH premium course at 19,800 yen, about twelve dishes. BIRCH adds high-quality Hokkaido seafood and needs booking at least three days ahead. Farm-raised meat anchors the POPLAR lunch, MAGNOLIA dinner and BIRCH courses. The wine list holds close to 100 bottles, mostly French, and the sake selection includes about 30 labels from breweries across Japan. Children have their own KIDS and BABY courses.
