The story
Ryoriya Inaya is a Japanese restaurant on the 7th floor of 1-10-2 Sonezakishinchi, Kita-ku, Osaka, and it earned one Michelin star in 2026 for high quality cooking.
Takaki Inaya trained in Michelin two-star kitchens before opening his own place. He keeps to traditional technique and still changes the structure of the menu as he finds new ideas. Gault&Millau scores the kitchen 15 in 2026. The omakase follows the season and runs from a first small dish and a soup course through sashimi, a grilled dish and rice to a sweet finish.
Three house salts come from the sun-dried salt maker Tanoya Shiojiro. Inaya visits the growers of his vegetables and charcoal himself, and he buys fish from fishermen who know his cooking. Only nine counter seats serve this Japanese kitchen, and the course is ¥27,500 per guest before service charge.
