The story
VeRo - Venetian Roots serves modern Venetian cuisine at Riva Ca'di Dio 2182 in Venice, and the Michelin Guide lists it as Recommended in 2026. The menu is built around Venetian produce and traditions, with contemporary technique applied to familiar flavors.
The menu changes with the seasons, and each season's colors and produce set the direction for the dishes. Preparations are kept simple and rely on good ingredients. The kitchen treats local tradition as a starting point, not a fixed rulebook.
The space combines classical Venetian architecture with a contemporary touch by Patricia Urquiola. Its concept favors restrained elegance. An indoor orchard inside the Cà di Dio hotel supplies fresh herbs and vegetables to the Venetian kitchen. Gambero Rosso has awarded the restaurant two forks (2022).
