The story
Steinbuck Stube is a classic cuisine restaurant at Talstraße 2 in Vogtsburg, in the Kaiserstuhl village of Bischoffingen. The Schlemmer Atlas awarded it 2 Kochlöffel in 2026. The Reichmann family runs this Landgasthaus right beside the St. Laurentius church.
Freshness and quality produce from the surrounding region are the stated priorities in the kitchen. A recent Stubenmenü (€78) began with goose liver, caramelized apple, pumpkin chutney and apple-quince sorbet, served with house-baked brioche. A parsley root soup with a blood sausage chip and pike-perch followed, then Markgräfler veal saddle with port wine sauce and homemade Knöpfle. Pear strudel with white chocolate ice cream closed the meal. The à la carte list also includes a beetroot Wellington in puff pastry with barley, apple and celery.
The Schlemmer Atlas notes the historic timber beams and the tastefully modernized restaurant and wine tavern. Michelin lists the address as Recommended for 2026. Outside there is a terrace, and the Weinstube leans on the well-known Kaiserstuhl wines. Guests can also stay overnight in the guest rooms and the suite. One package pairs two nights with a three-course menu from the head chef and a tasting of five regional wines.
