The story
Amazing Factory in Passau, at Ort 9, 94032 Passau, is a steakhouse with a Mediterranean-rooted kitchen on the Danube riverbank in the old town. The Schlemmer Atlas awarded it 2 Kochlöffel in 2026.
Black Angus steaks anchor the menu. The argentine Black Angus fillet is the house's number one cut, and the entrecote comes from the high rib, where heavy marbling keeps the meat juicy. The rump steak keeps a fat edge from the back that gives it a pronounced aroma.
Salmon, pike-perch, cod and scallops are prepared fresh each day. The burgers are handmade from 100 % regional beef and served with house-made sauces. Balkan specialties follow traditional recipes. Chef Mirsad also prepares a menu of up to five courses, available on advance reservation.
