The story
Strand Corso serves North German cooking at Strandpromenade 23, 18225 in Ostseebad Kühlungsborn, directly on the seafront. Schlemmer Atlas awarded it one Kochlöffel in 2026, describing a cozy local favorite with an unobstructed view of the Baltic Sea.
The building is a thatched house, known in German as a Reetdach, right on the beach promenade. The restaurant and café share the same outlook over the water. Guests can also stay in the attached guesthouse, where the double rooms face the Baltic.
The kitchen works with produce from the region and with what the sea and land provide. The Schlemmer Atlas singles out freshly caught fish, steaks and homemade cakes. A set lunch menu and vegan dishes are also offered.
