The story
Romantik Hotel Hof zur Linde serves Mediterranean food at Handorfer Werseufer 1, 48157 Münster, and holds 2,5 Kochlöffel in the Schlemmer Atlas 2026. The restaurant sits on a farmstead along the Werse river, just outside the city gates and a few minutes from Münster's city centre.
The Schlemmer Atlas notes a year-round heated kitchen, so the Mediterranean menu is available in every season. Guests can book a romantic dinner by the fireplace or eat on the terrace when the weather allows. The family-run house has belonged to the Löfken family since 1950, when Albert Löfken acquired the farm.
The house has several dining spaces. The Kaminhalle, a fireplace hall, was added in 2005. The former horse stable became the Lindentenne, a wine and pils room with a fireplace and an aperitif garden, in 1982. Gastronomy is spread across the Restaurant Linnenboom, Das Otto and the Handorfer Stammessen, so the setting changes with the kind of meal you want.
