The story
Little London, at Tal 31 in Munich's centre, is a British-style steakhouse that Michelin lists as Recommended for 2026. The grill menu centres on prime beef, and the dining room is built for long dinners with a serious wine list.
Steaks are cooked on a Montague grill heated to 928 °C. The cuts range from Black Aberdeen tenderloin and Black Angus porterhouse to a Tomahawk ribeye grilled on the bone. Beef comes from Australia, the USA and New Zealand, and the prime cuts are offered at different levels of maturity.
Mladen Vollmer leads the kitchen, which also sends out Wagyu tataki, sashimi of Alaskan wild salmon, and a seasonal chef's soup that changes regularly. Desserts are made in house. Sides such as truffle fries and mediterranean grilled vegetables are served alongside the steaks.
The room has a modern London feel, with a private living room available for groups on request. The wine list runs to 250 bottles, and the bar pours whiskies and cocktails. The Schlemmer Atlas gave the restaurant two Kochlöffel for 2026, citing its grilled meats and drinks.
