The story
Garden-Restaurant is at Promenadeplatz 2 in Munich, inside the Hotel Bayerischer Hof, and serves contemporary brasserie cooking. Michelin lists it as Recommended for 2026, and the Schlemmer Atlas awards it 2.5 Kochlöffel.
Classic brasserie dishes are reworked here with lighter plates, seasonal vegetables and fresh herbs under the Green Gusto concept. A Gusto review quoted on the restaurant's website describes a game dish with fruity red beet, a salsify purée enriched with miso, and a venison sauce it called exemplary. The menu also suits business lunches.
The Winter Garden was designed by Belgian designer and art dealer Axel Vervoordt, and its industrial-style accents give it the feel of an artist's studio. A fireplace separates the dining room from the Garden Salon. Guests can also eat on the sun terrace, and the restaurant offers air conditioning, outdoor seating and wheelchair access.
