The story
Galleria at Sparkassenstraße 11 in Munich is a small Italian restaurant that the Michelin Guide recommended in 2026. The menu pairs classic Italian dishes with newer interpretations, and the kitchen offers a five-course evening menu with Italian wines.
Executive chef Andrea Pomiato Colesso runs the kitchen. He worked in several starred restaurants before developing his own style at Galleria. The restaurant describes his cooking as high-quality and carefully prepared, with a Mediterranean and fusion approach alongside the Italian base.
The antipasti include Vitello Tonnato, served with a twist on the classic, and a beef tartare with quail egg and black truffle. Primi include saffron risotto with goose liver and fregola sarda with lobster and artichoke. Mains feature Iberian pork neck cooked for 48 hours at 62 °C, served with quince and black truffle. Desserts come from sous-chef Gabriele, and the menu suggests finishing there.
The Schlemmer Atlas awarded Galleria 2.5 Kochlöffel in 2026 and describes a cozy room with a five-course menu paired with wine. Evening menus run five courses for 105 € or six courses for 115 €. Weekday lunch, offered Monday to Friday from 12 to 14 o'clock, comes in one, two or three courses for 22.50 €, 31.50 € or 44.50 €, each finished with espresso.
