The story
Restaurant „Toskana“ sits inside the Parkhotel Stopp at Waldstr. 16 in Bad Füssing, where the kitchen cooks a Mediterranean menu with fusion touches. The Schlemmer Atlas awarded the restaurant two Kochlöffel in 2026, and the hotel says the restaurant is also listed in several other restaurant guides.
The hotel describes the kitchen as international, regional and Mediterranean, and the menu moves between those three directions. Guests can start with breakfast at the buffet and continue to an evening dinner of their choice in the same room. The hotel also runs a terrace café with a panoramic view.
The main courses include a grilled dorade fillet in a herb breadcrumb crust with ratatouille and rosemary potatoes, and a veal saddle in Parma crust with Madeira sauce over spinach and soft polenta. A Rottal beef fillet arrives with mixed pan vegetables, pepper and cognac sauce. Starters include an Angus beef carpaccio marinated with olive oil, lemon and Parmesan shavings, and the dessert list features Prosecco sabayone over fresh fruit with pistachio ice cream.
The Schlemmer Atlas describes the dining room as baroque in style, with columns and crystal chandeliers. The room has a cozy feel, which suits an unhurried dinner. Coffee and cake are served on the terrace during the afternoon, with ice cream specialities also on offer.
