The story
Atlantic Grill & Health sits at An der Alster 72 in Hamburg, where a French and North German kitchen holds one Michelin Star (2026) for high quality cooking.
Head Chef Fokke Mick lets international influences meet classic French technique. His black sea bass ceviche pairs melon, feta and kimchi sesame. Cannelloni come filled with porcini, spinach, parmesan and truffles, and monkfish arrives wrapped in bacon with champagne beurre blanc. The Atlantic lobster soup is the signature dish most tied to the house. Der Feinschmecker rates the kitchen 3.5.
Large windows open onto the Alster, and some tables look straight over the water. Inside, the style is maritime country house, with wood paneling, leather lounge furniture in marine blue and an open show kitchen. The restaurant has its own entrance beside the hotel's main door. The focus is regional and light, with fresh fish and a lunch service on weekdays.
The list runs to 300 wines, eight of them by the glass. For a smaller group, the restaurant's salon works as a private room for business meetings or family dinners.
