The story
Klapdohr Delikatessen & Bistro is at Lanker Str. 2 in Düsseldorf, where a French bistro kitchen sits beside a delicatessen counter. The Schlemmer Atlas gave it 1,5 Kochlöffel in 2026.
Lars Klapdohr and his kitchen team prepare every dish on the bistro menu, using fresh, high-quality ingredients. Guests choose from the daily recommendations or the regular card, then eat in before or after shopping at the counter. The guide describes fresh seafood platters, German classics and French desserts.
The Sunday brunch offers savoury dishes and sweets in a relaxed room. Tables are reserved by phone or email. In September 2024 the house hosted a "Chefs in Town" brunch with two-star chef Tristan Brandt.
