The story
Überland sits on the upper floors of the Business Center II at the BraWoPark, at Willy-Brandt-Platz 18 in Braunschweig, and it holds a Michelin Recommended distinction for 2026. The restaurant serves a contemporary Mediterranean menu at about 80 metres above the city, making it one of the more unusual dining rooms in the Braunschweig skyline.
The kitchen works with premium meat, fresh fish and house-made pasta, paired with seasonal sides from the region. Dishes named on the menu include beef fillet from German Färse, grilled octopus, truffle pasta and char served with caponata. The international menu suits a relaxed dinner for two as easily as a business lunch or a celebration.
The interior blends Art Deco lines with vintage details, and the restaurant spreads across three floors. A rooftop terrace and a bar give guests a view over the city, and the Schlemmer Atlas awarded it 2.5 Kochlöffel for 2026. A separate private dining floor offers seven rooms, from 25 to 140 square metres, for groups of ten to 199 people.
The drinks list leans heavily on Champagne, with houses such as Dom Pérignon, Ruinart and Taittinger, including magnums and larger formats. The white wine list focuses on German producers, with Grauburgunder, Weissburgunder, Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc and Riesling from regions including the Pfalz, Rheinhessen and the Mosel.
