MINA

MINA in Berlin pairs Italian cooking with Levantine spice on the Spree, and the Schlemmer Atlas awarded it 2 Kochlöffel for 2026.

The story

MINA Berlin: Italian and Levantine Kitchen on the Spree in Friedrichshain

MINA is a modern Italian restaurant at Mühlenstraße 64 in Berlin, where Italian technique meets Levantine flavours on the Spree. The Schlemmer Atlas awarded it 2 Kochlöffel for 2026.

Italian forms, Levantine accents

The kitchen keeps familiar Italian shapes but reworks them with Levantine ingredients. Hummus appears in several versions, including a pink beetroot one, served alongside muhammara and fattoush. The Schlemmer Atlas singled out risotto with veal cheeks, rabbit tagliatelle and mortadella pizza, with a touch of caviar on the plate.

A riverside setting

The restaurant sits in Friedrichshain beside the East Side Gallery, with riverside seating facing the Spree. Live music and events take place here, and private dining is available on the riverside for celebrations.
