The story
Bocca di Bacco is an Italian restaurant at Friedrichstraße 167/168 in Berlin, serving classic Italian cooking since 2001. The Michelin Guide listed it as Recommended in 2026, and Gambero Rosso awarded it two forks in 2020.
The restaurant sits in a Gründerzeit building on Friedrichstraße, with floor-to-ceiling windows that bring in plenty of light. The house describes its interior as a blend of late nineteenth-century elegance and Italian architectural sensibility. Schlemmer Atlas gave it two chef's spoons for its stylish setting.
The menu follows the Italian kitchen's classics with a modern touch. Schlemmer Atlas singles out beef fillet flambéed in cognac and grilled tuna, alongside fresh pasta and pizza. A set lunch menu is available, and the wine list is noted as a strong point, with private parties also hosted.
