The story
Béatriz serves Mexican small plates at 46 Bd Jean-Baptiste Lebas in Lille, France, and Le Fooding listed it in 2026. Manon Liétard, who already runs the taco bar La Güerita at the Grand Scène food court, opened it as a second project.
The menu is built for sharing. Croquettes are made in house with Mexican chorizo, cheddar and jalapeños. A tiradito of scallop comes with fermented jalapeño and cucumber water, and the ceviche of line-caught fish changes with each delivery, served with leche de tigre, sweet potato and coconut.
Le Fooding describes brick walls, a zellige-tiled counter and warm colors, plus a patio. Lunch runs Wednesday to Friday as a single set menu at 26 euros, drinks not included, with two or three mains, one of them vegetarian. Evenings and weekends use the à la carte, where the fish comes from sustainable fishing and the meat is French.
The dessert is a double chocolate mousse with toasted hazelnuts and fleur de sel.
