The story
La Croustade is a classic cuisine restaurant at rue Hodiamont 13 in Heusy, part of Verviers, and it holds a Michelin Recommended listing for 2026. Thierry and his team sign the welcome on the restaurant's website.
The set menu costs 58 € (90 € with wine) and starts with mises en bouche chosen by the kitchen. The first starter is a veal roast carpaccio with oregano emulsion and a crisp vegetable salad. Next comes half a baby lobster with basil butter (+6 €), or Malines cockerel in a Thai broth scented with lemongrass and ginger. Beef aiguillettes with a red wine and shallot reduction, or the fish of the day (+4 €), follow. Dessert is roasted apricot with thyme, almond milk ice cream and redcurrant mousse.
A weekday lunch runs on Thursday and Friday at 48 € (72 € with wine). On Thursday evenings the kitchen serves a surprise menu at 77.50 €, with an aperitif, two starters, a main and a dessert. The price includes a cocktail of the day, water and a selection of wines or soft drinks. Gault&Millau scores the table 12.5 for 2026. Vegetarian alternatives and allergy requests are handled if you mention them when booking.
