The story
Ce's Arts is a seasonal bistro at Filips Van Marnixstraat 1 in Gent, and Gault&Millau gave it a score of 12 in 2026. The inspiration is Paris, the cooking is classic with a twist.
Chef Cederic cooks with the seasons and goes looking for the best terroir products. He follows a few trends but trusts a strong base. Gault&Millau describes a playful nod to Paris, with a menu broad enough for most tastes, such as ravioli with pumpkin and fennel in a light sauce with hazelnut crumble. The restaurant also holds one Radish from the We're Smart Green Guide (2026).
The à la carte list leans French. Foie gras poêlé comes with brioche toast, port jus, hazelnut and blueberries. Lamb crown is served with peas, red wine jus, parsnip cream and croquettes. Beef bourguignon from Simmental arrives with gratin dauphinois. For dessert there is a moelleux au chocolat with mandarin and olive oil.
Lunch runs Tuesday to Friday. A starter and main cost €35, and a dessert adds €5. The set menu changes weekly. Up to eight guests can book the chef's table, a carte blanche menu made to measure with extra attention from the kitchen.
